This auction is for the grille from a 1972 Ford Maverick 2 door coupe. This OEM item is used and it's being sold "AS-IS" and with NO REFUNDS. Fits other years as well, so check a sourcebook for your specific application before you bid. Same for Grabber model, just needs to be painted black. Stamped: DODB-8150-A D839 on back. This is a very workable original piece...

No stress cracks, broken bars or broken mounting pegs. There is a scratch mark on the underside where the medallion mounts, (see picture 5). There is a chip on the underside of one bottom rail that faces the bumper and won't be seen when mounted, (see picture 6). I even took a picture from the front and you can't see it, (see picture 7). The center medallion was missing when this car came in, so you'll need another one. Silver paint is dull and needs a recoat. I have the factory mounting screws.

I had to custom build a box for this and it's very awkward as it is, so there will be no combined shipping on this with my other auctions!

** Check out my other auctions for a few more parts from the same 1972 Maverick. If you don't see it listed, then I don't have it and the car was already crushed. Wasn't much left worth saving off this one when it came in anyway...

I never end my auctions early so don't bother asking or I will just delete your emails...

The Jaguar XKR drifting at the hands of Jeremy Clarkson - who was wearing flippers! In a bit of Christmas DVD daftness (a Jeremy Clarkson speciality) Clarkson and the Stig are out playing at ‘Splat the Apple’ on the track at Monteblanco. But there’s a catch.

McLaren P1 gets 903bhp

Wed, 20 Feb 2013

McLaren has revealed that their new supercar – the McLaren P1 – will deliver 903bhp and have emissions below 200g/km. The McLaren P1 will get 727bhp from its 3.8 litre V8 with an additional 176bhp coming from an electric motor for a combined power delivery of 903bhp, with the V8 contributing 531lb/ft of torque and the electric motor an instant 192lb/ft for a combined torque of 664lb/ft at 4000rpm. The boost from the electric motor is instantly available at the flick of a button on the steering wheel – McLaren call it Instant Power Assist System (IPAS) – which instantly throws more additional power to aid the McLaren’s V8 than a pair of Fiestas can manage.
