Wed, 28 May 2014Google will launch its own fleet of autonomous vehicle prototypes – with no steering wheels and no gas or brake pedals – as the technology giant begins a new phase of its self-driving car project. Honda said a malfunction in the ignition-interlock feature of these vehicles could allow the key to be removed from the ignition before the car in has been placed in “park.” All but 64,000 of affected vehicles were sold in the United States.

Fri, 18 Jul 2014COUNCIL STAFF staff are appealing for the owners of a black kitten to come forward - after it hitched a lift on one of their vans. The kitten was found cowering under the wheel-arch of the vehicle by horticultural workers at South Somerset District Council. It is believed to have boarded the van at the authority's Lufton Depot in Yeovil and clung on until arriving in Bruton - around 20 miles away.
