Bentley to debut Flying Spur V8 at Geneva motor show

Bentley is expanding its Flying Spur range, and will now offer a V8 engine as an option in addition to the W12 in the 2015 model year sedan. This seems like a logical extension, given the fact that Bentley has recently offered a V8 engine in the second-generation Continental GT V8, and they'll bring the new version of the Flying Spur to the Geneva Motor Show next week. Bentley being rather straightforward with their naming practices, the new sedan will be called the Flying Spur V8.

Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 first of string of new Peugeot hybrids

Peugeot will launch the new 3008 HYbrid4 crossover in autumn 2011 as the world's first diesel-electric hybrid car - and it's the first in a string of hybrid cars coming from Peugeot and Citroen. The 3008 HYbrid4 will be followed by a brace of 508 hybrids in spring 2011, and engineers have told CAR that any car on the mid-sized PF2 and full-sized PF3 platforms can use the same innovative electric 4wd architecture.  Although pricey at £26,995, Peugeot expects to sell 10,000 of the 3008 HYbrid4 in its first full year and the parent group PSA Peugeot Citroen is targeting 100,000 annual sales of hybrids as soon as 2015. Ferrari apologizes for employee filmed doing donuts in China

Ferrari issued an apology on Wednesday after one of its employees was filmed doing donuts in a 458 Italia 20th Anniversary Special Edition on the 600-year-old Ming Dynasty wall in the city of Nanjing. The online community has been up in arms, with users of Wiebo, China's version of Twitter, being allowed to complain the loudest. Much of the anger was directed at the Chinese government, which rented the wall for the occasion at a cost of $12,000.
