For sale - used original 1976 Pontiac Trans Am hood, rear bumper and a pair of fenders.
Hood is in good condition - has small dent on front left corner and couple of small dents on hood surface - underside rust free except for small area of surface rust on hood bracing - and was drilled for hood pins long ago. Fenders not hit or dented but will need rust repair on bottom section of both. Rear bumper assembly frame has one broken stud. See pictures. Package deal 600.00 for all. Local pick up only. The 2013 BMW M6 Coupe and the new BMW M6 Convertible have been revealed this morning ahead of motor show debuts, with the M6 Coupe landing at the Geneva Motor Show next month, and the M6 Convertible keeping some of its powder dry until the New York Auto Show in April.
Nissan backs radical DeltaWing racecar program
Wed, 14 Mar 2012Nissan has announced its involvement in a radical new motorsport project, dubbed the DeltaWing, which will race at the Le Mans 24 Hours this summer using Nissan power. The car is the work of Ben Bowlby who originally designed the car as a proposal for the 2012 IndyCar racer, which has since found the attention of Nissan after its rejection by the American race championship. The headlines of the design are that it's half the weight and has half the aerodynamic drag of a conventional racer and is therefore far more efficient.

But it’s not only the Karma’s gap-toothed grin that’s disappeared: its plug-in hybrid powertrain has bitten the dust, too, replaced by a GM-sourced V8 – a supercharged lump boasting 638hp and 640lb ft. Called the VL Destino, the wilder Karma will be shown at this month’s North American International Auto Show, aka the Detroit Motor Show.
