2014 Acura MDX gets new platform, FWD option
Thu, 20 Jun 2013Acura gave us the full rundown of the 2014 MDX SUV on Wednesday. The seven-passenger people-mover goes on sale tomorrow, and for the first time includes a base front-wheel-drive version which stickers at $43,185. The Acura MDX has a new platform for 2014 that's lower and narrower, but with a 2.8-inch longer wheelbase.
KoenigSaab coming soon?
Fri, 29 May 2009Koenigsegg are in the running to take over Saab Saab were given Swedish Government protection recently (similar to Chapter 11) to try and find a suitor or funding to operate independently. Of course they can’t do that completely, at least not in the short term, as they are so tied in to GM’s platforms on their current and soon to be released cars. But Saab has a strong – if quirky – history and, with the right backing, could stand alone as a niche maker of aesthetically individual cars.
