FOR AUCTION: SEAT AND BACKREST REMOVED FROM A NON-RUNNING 1977 BMW R100/7 MOTORCYCLE. THIS BIKE HAS BEEN SITTING FOR YEARS. SEAT IS IN PRETTY GOOD CONDITION FOR THE AGE. NO RIPS ON TOP OF SEAT AND BACKREST. THERE ARE AREAS OF SEPARATIONS IN THE MATERIAL AT THE BOTTOM WHERE IT MEETS THE PAN AND THE PAN DOES HAVE SOME RUST. SOME MOUNTING BOLTS, BUT NOT ALL, INCLUDED. THERE IS SOME LIGHT STAINING ON MAIN PART OF SEAT, BUT IS PRETTY MINOR. AREAS OF MAIN SEAT, WHERE BACK REST BOLTS ONTO IS TORN, BUT IS COVERED WHEN BACKREST IS ATTACHED. BACKREST HAS BEEN REMOVED AND WILL NEED TO BE RE-INSTALLED BY BUYER. CHROME ATTACHED TO BACKREST HAS SURFACE RUST AND PITTING, BUT NO RUST THRUS. THE PICTURES SHOULD GIVE A GOOD IDEA ON CONDITION. Citroen C1 ev’ie Electric Car launched
Thu, 30 Apr 2009The Citroen C1 ev'ie - the UK's first proper all electric car - launched today Based (obviously) on Citroen’s baby C1, the C1 ev’ie aims to be as car-like as possible, but offering all the economies (and most of the drawbacks!) of an electric car. The donor cars are supplied by Citroen UK and the company claims that 50% of the value of the car is generated in the UK with the conversion to all electric drive. Designed to have a range of 60-70 miles this is a city car, pure and simple.
Lotus Evora hits London showroom
Sat, 20 Dec 2008Despite the fact that the new Lotus Evora is not due to start delivery until next Summer, Lotus of London, in Park Lane, has this week taken delivery of the first Evora to hit a showroom anywhere in the world, and it will be on show from the 22nd December. The Evora is going to be on display until the 9th January, offering potential buyers, and the terminally nosey, the opportunity to see this exciting new Lotus in the flesh. Finished in Frost White (trendy, but I’m not sure it suits the Evora that well), with a red leather interior, the 2+2 is the first proper new Lotus car for more than a decade.
New Mustang Finally Comes To UK
Fri, 06 Dec 2013FORD has unveiled its latest generation Mustang muscle car, which for the first time will come to the UK in right-hand drive form. The car, which will go on sale towards the end of 2014, claims to be lighter and more advanced than its predecessor. Also new is a 2.3-litre, 305 horsepower engine, which Ford hopes will boost the Mustang’s eco credentials in Europe without detracting from the car’s performance.
