Up for sale is a pair of bumper support brackets removed from a a '81 Nascar Trans Am. This is in good condition with normal wear. It looks to have some minor damage from a cutting torch around the mount holes. This should not effect integrity but are not candidates for show quality (Pictured). Tesla Model S charging system may have started garage blaze
Thu, 19 Dec 2013A fire department in Southern California said a garage fire may have been caused by an overheated charging system in a Tesla Model S sedan, in the latest link between the top selling electric car and the potential for fire. While Tesla Motors Inc. contends the fire was not related to the car or its charging system, the Orange County Fire Authority said the Tesla-supplied charging system or the connection at the electricity panel on the wall of the garage of a single-family home could have caused the fire.
Mercedes removed Lieb over compliance issue, report says
Thu, 20 Oct 2011Daimler AG dismissed Mercedes-Benz USA chief Ernst Lieb for violations of human resources and ethics policies relating to household expenses paid by the automaker, The Financial Times reported Wednesday, citing sources close to the company. Lieb was abruptly removed as head of the automaker's second-largest market on Oct. 17 after more than 30 years at Daimler.
