Lexus GS (2012) the first official pictures

This is the new Lexus GS, which has just been revealed at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California, USA. Presumably the new Lexus GS is clean and green? Well, yes, but much of the official Lexus press release is filled with phrases like ‘improved driving dynamics’ and ‘packed with innovative performance’, but no mention is made of fuel consumption or emission figures.

Sky's 3D pub channel will this weekend host the premiere of a 3D film showing David Coulthard driving the Mercedes SLS supercar around the Isle of Man. Click here to see the making of the 3D Merc SLS video.It was shot using a second SLS carrying a brace of 3D camera gear bolted to the back. Worrying insurance fraud trends revealed

AS MANY as two million motorists could be jeopardising their insurance by listing themselves as the main driver on a car that someone else covers more mileage in. The process, known as ‘fronting’, secures a cheaper insurance quote for the real main driver, who in many cases is young or has less no-claims discount, but it is illegal and could completely invalidate the policy and leave the drivers vulnerable to prosecution. Research from Privilege car insurance has revealed not only that the two million drivers could be risking more than they imagine, but also that around one million motorists are named as the main driver on insurance policies for cars they have never even driven at all.
