Unique cars, boats and planes land at Key Largo vintage weekend
Tue, 06 Dec 2011The 17th-annual Vintage Weekend, held the first weekend in December, signifies the start of "the season" for Key Largo's Ocean Reef Club. Sure, it's a display of classic motor yachts and airplanes, but here the car is still star. That is, if you exclude Bob Schwartz's rocket-powered bicycle, which saw 50-mph passes on the runway at Ocean Reef's airport.
Cadillac CTS-V priced to undercut M5, XFR

Prices will start at £56,495, positioning the new Cadillac CTS-V just below the new Jaguar XF-R (£59,900) and comfortably undercutting German rivals such as the BMW M5 (£63,325) and Audi RS6 (a fulsome £74,550). Performance figures for the CTS-V make interesting reading, with 60mph being dispatched in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 191mph for the manual car (175mph for the automatic).
Detroit 3 set pace as March sales advance
Tue, 02 Apr 2013UPDATED-U.S. light-vehicle sales -- led by strong pickup and crossover demand at Detroit's automakers -- rose 3 percent to 1.45 million units last month, slightly below forecasts but a positive signal the spring selling season is off to a solid start. It was the industry's best month since 1.48 million light vehicles were sold in August 2007.
