BMW Recall: 350,000 Cars affected

BMW Recall affects only V8 & V12 BMWs and Rolls Royces We don’t tend to do every tuppeny-ha’penny recall on Cars UK. Any more than we do exotic car accidents. But some recalls affect so many people we do – occassionally – feel the need to do sensible reporting and let readers know what’s occurring.

Entries in for 2012 LA Design Challenge

Final designs for the 2025 Highway Patrol Vehicle from worldwide design studios are in for the Los Angeles Auto Show Design Challenge. Design studios from BMW DesignWorksUSA, General Motors, Honda North America, Honda Japan, Mercedes-Benz and Subaru are fighting it out to be honored in the annual contest by showcasing their creativity and talent. This year's Design Challenge asked automotive design studios to create a highway patrol vehicle for 2025 that tackled the ‘protect and serve' aspect while considering emissions, population growth and transportation infrastructure.

Carroll Shelby, Felt Bicycles collaborate on beach cruiser

Felt Bicycles, a maker of competition bikes, and our favorite Mustang tuner, Carroll Shelby, have collaborated on a custom cruiser bike that pays homage to the classic Shelby GT350. The Shelby Cruiser will be limited in production but available worldwide for a price of $999. Designers from Felt worked with the Shelby team during every step of the process.
