This is a used motor and ran perfectly when pulled from car. It was my sons first car and he dismantled the car for painting and restoration but never devoted time to finish project. I had the motor and transmission rebuilt and he drove the car for three months before disassembling. I will ship to you but you will have to pay for and chose method. I think that 1000 miles could be on motor after rebuild but it may be considerably less.

Electric car hopeful Aurica Motors LLC is floating a plan to keep open a California joint venture between Toyota and General Motors by building zero emission vehicles there. Aurica has been negotiating the plan with New United Motor Manufacturing Inc. for the past three months, Aurica General Manager Matt Pitagora said in a phone interview late Wednesday.

CCS students tackle GM project

Seniors studying Transportation Design at the College for Creative Studies (CCS) in Detroit, Michigan, have recently completed a project with General Motors that has been underway since late 2009. General Motors challenged the students to design an Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) that focused on the brand identity of Buick, Cadillac or Chevrolet, utilized the EREV components, and optimized aerodynamic attributes. Design features that incorporated sustainability materials and efficiency were also considered important components of the design development.
