1984 Honda CB650SC Nighthawk Gas Tank 175A1-ME5-770

For sale is used and abused OEM gas tank with fuel level sending unit from a 1984 Honda 650 Nighthawk. I bought the bike this tank came from at a moving sale. It hasn't been on road since 1992 according to inspection sticker. The engine was taken out to repair something and the tank and everything else has been in garage getting banged up since. When I first looked at tank I thought the gas cap was the only thing that could be used. After taking cap off I found the tank was full of gas and a gas stabilizer. The inside of tank is in pretty good shape. (see photos) Mostly I see bare metal with only surface rust stains. The outside has rust in all the places that the paint is off. It has a lot of surface scratches in paint, some dings and dents, bubbling paint. No real large dents. With a little work this could be a pretty decent looking tank. It's solid, no leaks. The sending unit is included. Not sure if it works but wiring is okay. Fits 83 84 85 Honda 650 Nighthawk

I'm not sure what other models this will fit other than the ones listed so please make sure that they will fit your bike before bidding

Lexus LFA: Orchestrated and Choreographed

Sat, 21 Jul 2012

We have video of a trio of Lexus LFA drifting and performing at an event in Japan to the strains of Elgar and Rossini. There are only 500 Lexus LFAs in existence, so seeing more than one at a time is quite a motoring spot. To see three together in one place is unusual, even more so when they’re performing a car ballet.

Ford future products: New vehicles get lighter, faster and move upscale

Mon, 29 Aug 2011

Ford Motor Co.'s future-product focus is on improved fuel economy by making its vehicles smaller and engines lighter without sacrificing performance, safety or luxury. It also wants to push the Ford brand more upscale to capture customers orphaned by the shutdown of the Mercury brand, and to attract new buyers with more product offerings. Ford has said 90 percent of its North American nameplates will be available with direct-injection turbocharged EcoBoost engines as standard equipment or as an option by 2013.
