For parts/salvage only. This truck was used for snowplowing 2 years ago. The original 350c.i. engine was replaced with a used one that quickly lost oil pressure. So, it was parked. The salt spreader and plow accessories will be removed prior to sale and are not included in the sale. They will be available for an additional charge to the high bidder by negotiation. Tires will be inflated for transport. The automatic transmission, transfer case and differentials were in good working order when parked. The frame is rusted but solid.


The truck is being sold as is with no returns, guarantees or paperwork. Registration is possible but is the responsibility of the bidder. The sale is final. Always Evolving's Porsche Carerra GT -- recognizable for its unusual red color and black wheels -- is a difficult car to drive for even professionals, with one top driver calling its handling “scary." Those of us at Autoweek who have driven the car will likely concur. Always Evolving, a car race and tuner store operated by CEO Roger Rodas, a financial consultant who became friends and business partners with actor Paul Walker at a racetrack, acquired the car last spring, and used it often at car shows and in promotional ads. Rodas was driving when the car crashed, killing him and passenger Walker in a California business park Saturday afternoon.

Toyota makes service plans standard

Toyota Motor Corp., aiming to restore customer trust after a recall crisis, is launching two new U.S. service plans that will come standard with Toyota and Scion brand vehicles. Called Toyota Care and Scion Service Boost, the plans will offer free factory scheduled maintenance and 24-hour roadside assistance for two years or 25,000 miles, whichever comes first, the company said Wednesday.
