How Porsche will be integrated into VW

After all, Martin Winterkorn has effectively been appointed head of the Porsche SE Holding which in turn employs the Porsche AG chairman Michael Macht.  With a takeover as costly and complicated to fund as this one – all in all, VW will have to fork out a staggering €16 billion to absorb the latest family member – it is only logical that the new owner wants to get the restructuring process going asap. BMW 3 Series Coupe & Convertible 2010 Facelift

BMW has revised the 3 Series Convertible and Coupe for 2010. It’s not actually that long until we’re due a new 3 Series from BMW (2011) but that doesn’t mean BMW are sitting on the current BMW 3 Series waiting for it to turn up its toes next year. They’re still tweaking and titivating and have revealed a round of changes for the 2010 Coupe and Convertible (which will be the 2011 MY in the US) – a facelift before the end is probably the best way to look at it.

GM to auction 'Cooksey' Corvette Z06 to benefit Haiti relief efforts

General Motors will donate the proceeds from the sale of a limited-edition Chevrolet Corvette 427 Z06 that is crossing the auction block this weekend to help fund relief efforts in Haiti. GM design boss Ed Welburn will introduce the car at the Barrett-Jackson auction on Saturday in Scottsdale, Ariz. The automaker will donate the money from the sale to the American Red Cross to fund its work in earthquake-devastated Haiti.
