Tesla Model S Alpha – the Video
Wed, 19 Jan 2011Tesla Model S Alpha It would seem that Tesla is still very much a Silicon Valley Company at heart, rather than a car maker. Can you imagine any other car company revealing an ‘Alpha’ car? That’s Alpha in the sense of ‘Not quite Beta’, rather than ‘Alpha – I’m the best’.
Vauxhall Corsa VXR Blue revealed
Sat, 15 Jan 2011The Vauxhall Corsa VXR Blue Just a couple of months after we had the 2011 Vauxhall Corsa facelift we get treated to a Limited Edition ‘Hot’ Corsa – the Vauxhall Corsa VXR Blue. You won’t be shocked to learn the ‘Blue’ bit relates to the paint job on this VXR, which comes in fetching Arden Blue Metallic paint and is garnished with a set of 18″ alloys, tinted glass, Recaros and bespoke interior air vents (no, we have no idea either). Porsche unveils 2015 911 Targa
Mon, 13 Jan 2014Porsche has given its latest 911 Targa a heavy dose of retro appeal through the adoption of a series of classic styling cues that hark back to that of the original model launched in 1965. Unveiled at the Detroit auto show, the new 911 Targa is based around the same aluminium bodyshell and four-wheel drive mechanical package as the 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet, alongside which it will be produced at Porsche's Zuffenhausen factory on the outskirts of Stuttgart, Germany. Among the traditional styling elements Porsche's design boss Michael Mauer has chosen to resurrect on the new car is a fixed B-pillar hoop, or Targa bar as it has come to be known over the years.
