Volvo will showcase its latest plug-in hybrid technology in the new 2012 XC60 Plug-in Hybrid concept car at next week's Detroit auto show. The Swedes have been developing a range of plug-in hybrid cars, using both petrol and diesel. The hybridised V60 which goes on sale in Europe later in 2012 uses diesel, whereas the new SUV drinks from the green pump.

Prince William and Catherine Middleton, newly the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, drove away from their humble nuptials in an Aston Martin DB6 Volante with the top down, license plate reading "JU5T WED." Utilizing the same 300bhp equivalent battery powertrain, the America evolves the Fetish's technologies and looks to the future of the small-scale French manufacturer. The bespoke carbon monocoque chassis forms part of the America's bodywork, with the rest being made up of two separate deformable 'cells'.
