Great OUT OF PRINT collectable produced by International Masters Publishers in the late 1990’s. Provides comprehensive review of automobile including: Vital Statistics (top speed, acceleration performance, engine vitals, list price, etc…), Behind the Wheel driving impressions, Vehicle Dimensions, Development Milestones, Under the Skin engine and chassis review, Nose to Nose performance comparison to rival vehicles, etc, etc……Vivid Hi-Res photos and graphics makes for great all around reading. 4 panel/4 page sheet unfolds to 9” x 16” overall, suitable for framing. These are not regular manufacturer sales brochures made for the masses, but rather a highly detailed limited production specialized compilation previously only available by subscription. Thu, 03 May 2012Ferrari Facebook 8 Million Video More celebrations by car makers hitting social media milestones, this time Ferrari celebrates 8 million Facebook fans with a 458 burnout. We do wonder how long the latest car maker PR stunt of celebrating social media milestones will continue, but if it gets coverage – like this – the answer is probably that it won’t stop – ever. Yesterday we had AMG celebrating a rather small 2 million YouTube views with a blat in a C 63 AMG Coupe round Laguna Seca, and today we get treated to a Ferrari 458 Italia strutting its stuff to celebrate a far more significant 8 million Facebook Fans (or should that now be Facebook ‘Likes’?).
Hyundai ix35 Facelift goes further in Korea – and looks better for it
Tue, 07 May 2013Last year we had spy shots of the Hyundai ix35 facelift floating round Korea – Hyundai’s home market – which showed a much more convincing nose than the, then, ix35 in Europe, but they eventually turned out to be photos of the ix35 FCEV which Hyundai had given a nose much more like the new Santa Fe and which we thought pointed at the 2013 facelift for the ix35. But when the Hyundai ix35 did turn up at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with a bit of a titivate, it was exactly that – some very minor tweaking which kept the 2013 ix35 looking very similar to the 2012 model. But that’s not happening in Korea.
