For your consideration: an ECU removed from a 1998 Honda Civic Hx with D16Y5 1.6 Lean-burn VTEC engine and 5-speed manual transmission. This will work in 1996, 1997 and 1998 EK Honda Civic Hx models with a D16Y5 SOHC 1.6l VTEC engine, manual transmission, and 37820-P2N-A32 ECU code. This was tested before being removed and worked perfectly with no codes stored. This is a very hard to find ECU, please match your original ECU numer exactly before bidding. OEM MSRP is $1136.60. Puegeot win at Le Mans – Audi third
Mon, 15 Jun 2009Peugeot drivers celebrate their 1-2 at Le Mans The winning Peugeot (#9) was driven by Alexander Wurz, David Brabham and Marc Gene, whilst second place was taken by Sébastien Bourdais, Franck Montagny and Stéphane Sarrazinin in car #8, just one lap behind, and five laps in front of Audi’s #1 car driven by Allan McNish, Rinaldo Capello and Tom Kristensen. In fact, the Audi car #1 (the other Audi entries had fallen by the wayside) finished just one lap ahead of Lola Aston Martin’s #007 car. The usual racing excuses were out in full, with Audi claiming that the cancellation of the traditional testing day this year meant they were unable to set up the R15 TDI properly in time for the race (Peugeot seemed to manage to get the 908s ready!).

That’s £1,000 less than we’d expected when the Logan estate was revealed at Geneva last month, and cheap enough to make it the cheapest estate car on sale in the UK. True, the entry-level Logan estate in Access trim with the 1.2 litre 74bhp petrol engine, 15″ steel wheels and not a lot of toys, isn’t exactly specced up, but if you need a proper estate car – and you want it new – the Logan MCV (the MCV bit means ‘Maximum Capacity Vehicle) is a great deal.
McLaren P1 to make its driving debut at 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed

We’ve also had McLaren F1 new boy Sergio Perez driving the P1 round the Top Gear Dunsfold track and Ron Dennis telling us he got round the Top Gear track in the P1 a good 10 seconds quicker than any other road car ever has. But now we’re actually going to see the McLaren P1 driven in anger.
