Anders Warming to replace Gert Hildebrand as Design Director at Mini

Gert Volker Hildebrand will pass the reigns to current Head of Exterior Design at BMW Cars, Anders Warming, the German automaker announced today. Gert Hildebrand has overseen the entire development and evolution of the Mini range since the introduction of the 'new' Mini, designed by Frank Stephenson in 2000.
Chevrolet halts sales of certain Cruze models
Fri, 28 Mar 2014General Motors is telling Chevrolet dealers to stop selling some 2013 and 2014 model year Chevrolet Cruze sedans, though the automaker isn't saying why. On Thursday, March 27, the automaker issued a stop-delivery order via email to all U.S. Chevrolet dealers, requiring dealers to stop selling some Cruze models equipped with a 1.4-liter turbo engine.
Campaign Group Calls For Halt To 20mph Roll Out
Fri, 29 Aug 2014CAMPAIGN group Alliance of British Drivers (ABD) is calling for Government to halt the roll out of 20mph zones following further increases in 20mph accidents. The organisation has also questioned the motivation of proponents who continue to advocate a national roll out of 20mph zones, despite an ongoing Government investigation and claims of increased recorded accident statistics in current 20mph zones. In a recent survey of its members: 95% of Alliance of British Drivers' members believe that the roll out of 20mph zones and limits should be halted pending Government research into increased casualty statistics in current zones.
