Honda continues with winning formula for CR-V
Fri, 31 Aug 2012Honda published the details of the 2013 CR-V small SUV on Friday. It was revamped last year so it basically carries on with minor changes. The CR-V is among the best-selling SUVs in America and will get more than 30 mpg on the highway from a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 185 hp and 163 lb-ft of torque.
GM posts quarterly net income of $1.96 billion
Wed, 10 Nov 2010General Motors Co., in its final financial snapshot before next week's initial public offering of stock, posted third quarter net income of $1.96 billion on revenues of $34.06 billion. The results, released Wednesday, were in line with a forecast issued last week. GM now has earned $4.16 billion on revenues of $98.71 billion through three straight profitable quarters this year--a dramatic swing after five consecutive annual losses.
