THIS IS FOR 2 VINTAGE DASH/GAUGE HOLDER FOR?????? I FOUND THESE IN A BARN AND NO ONE KNOW WHAT THEY WERE FOR.THE ONLY THING I CAN READ IS DOME LIGHTS AND PANEL LIGHT. ONE OF THESE IS BETTTER THAN THE OTHER. THERE LOOKS LIKE A PLASTICLIKE MATERIAL THAT COVED THIS. ONE IS PEALING OFF. THIS IS 13 BY 12 INCHES. IF ANYONE KNOW FOR SURE WHAT THESE GO TO PLEASE EMAIL ME. BMW looks to patent seven-speed lockout manual transmission
Fri, 08 Jun 2012The intrepid Bimmerphiles over at www.e90post.com have uncovered a few drawings from BMW's latest patent request. The drawing shows a new transmission linkage and what looks to be a seven-speed manual transmission. Like the new Porsche 911, the BMW gear shifter has six gears in standard H pattern, with a seventh gear out to the right.
