This kit contains 20 feet of red(+) and 20 feet of black(-) 8 gauge stranded marine grade tinned copper wire(40 feet total), a prewired 8 gauge boatside socket with matching 8 gauge motorside plug. Kit includes all connectors needed and a 50 amp circuit breaker. Designed for optimum use in the marine environment. Fine strand tinned copper conductor provides excellent resistance to corrosion while remaining flexible.

General Motors is moving its Performance Build Center, which let enthusiasts pay $5,000-plus to build the high-performance engine for their Chevrolet Corvette, from Michigan to the Corvette assembly plant in Bowling Green, Ky. The move is expected to be completed by spring 2014. It will let a Corvette buyer build his own engine, with help from a GM technician, and then see it installed in his car as it goes down the Bowling Green assembly line.

Ford to slash price of Focus Electric by $4,000 for 2014

Ford will be reducing the price of its Ford Focus electric by $4,000 for the 2014 model year, InsideEVs.com is reporting. The 10 percent price cut will lower the starting MSRP from $39,995 (including a $795 destination charge) down to $35,995. This move by Ford is seen as an attempt to keep the electric car competitive since its release back in 2011.
