Actual detailed photo will be added soon) The rebuild kit contains all and "Steel plates." Make sure you get a kit with steel plates. The cheaper ones don't have them and you "will" need them. Also included is a Transtec soft parts kit with every rubber seal and gasket that you'll need to complete your rebuild. The kit comes with a new filter, pump bushing and extension housing bushing. This kit also comes with the band. The torque converter that comes in this kit is balanced and pressure tested and has the heavy duty brazed turbine and torrington bearings. This converter has a stock stall speed and will be fine for up to 500 hp. The shift kit fixes, stuck throttle valve; late or non upshifts; 3-4 clutch failure; soft on slide-bump 1-2; 2-3 cutloose; shuttle 4-3-4-3; and soft 4th shift. Along with fixing these common problems, you'll also see an increase in the life of your transmission due to the reduced slippage. Hyundai, Kia retract mileage claims
Fri, 02 Nov 2012Hyundai and Kia overstated the estimated fuel economy on more than 900,000 U.S. vehicles sold over the past two years and will compensate owners for the faulty claims, a newspaper reported. In addition, the South Korean partners will lower the fuel-economy estimates on most of their 2012 and 2013 models, the Detroit News said.
