DOMESTIC SHIPPING NOTE:

EBAY POSTS A DELIVERY TIME ON ALL ITEMS, THE SELLER DOES NOT POST THIS STATEMENT.

THEY OFTEN SAY "DELIVERY IN 3 DAYS".

UNFORTUNATELY, EBAY DOES NOT DELIVER THE ITEM, THE US POSTAL SERVICE DOES.

3 DAY SHIPPING IS POSSIBLE ONLY IF PRIORITY MAIL IS SELECTED, BUT EBAY DOESN'T TELL BUYERS THAT.

ALTHOUGH MEDIA MAIL IS THE LEAST EXPENSIVE WAY TO SHIP BOOKS, IT IS ALSO THE SLOWEST METHOD OF DELIVERY BY THE US POSTAL SERVICE.

THE USPS STATED DELIVERY TIMES FOR USPS MEDIA MAIL ARE 2 TO 9 BUSINESS DAYS.

MOST ITEMS ARE DELIVERED WITHIN THIS TIME, BUT THERE ARE OCCASIONS THAT THE USPS TAKES 8 OR MORE DAYS JUST TO GET THE MEDIA MAIL ITEM FROM PENNSYLVANIA TO THEIR NEW JERSEY SORT FACILITY.

IF YOU CHOOSE MEDIA MAIL, PLEASE HAVE THE PATIENCE TO WAIT FOR YOUR ITEM TO BE DELIVERED.

ALTHOUGH I ALMOST ALWAYS GET YOUR ITEM OUT THE DOOR AND INTO THE USPS HANDS WITHIN ONE BUSINESS DAY OF THE PAID-FOR SALE, IT IS THEN BEYOND MY CONTROL ON WHEN YOUR ITEM IS ACTUALLY DELIVERED.

IF YOU NEED YOUR ITEM AT YOUR DOOR QUICKLY, PLEASE CONSIDER PRIORITY MAIL, WHICH IS ALMOST ALWAYS FASTER DELIVERY.

WHEN YOU LEAVE FEEDBACK, PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE MY SHIPPING PERFORMANCE BY THE OFTEN PATHETIC USPS PERFORMANCE ON MEDIA MAIL DELIVERY TIMES.

THANK YOU.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: CUSTOMS FEES FOR CROSS BORDER SHIPMENTS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.

PLEASE CHECK WHAT (IF ANY) CUSTOMS FEES YOU MAY BE OBLIGATED TO PAY WHEN YOUR ITEM IS DELIVERED IN YOUR COUNTRY.

Enthusiast 3D prints an Aston Martin DB4

Thu, 01 Aug 2013

New Zealand enthusiast Ivan Sentch is in the process of 3D printing a 1961 Aston Martin DB4. Engadget reports that he bought a $499 Solidoodle 3D printer and has been working on this project since December 2012. Using a Nissan Skyline as a donor car, he'll make a fiberglass mold of the print and hopefully transform this thing into a drivable, street-legal car for a fraction of the cost of an authentic DB4.

Mon, 14 Apr 2014

The spring edition of Car Design News’ quarterly interior design publication, Interior Motives magazine, is out now. This issue features in-depth design development articles on the most interesting and important concept and production vehicles from the recent Tokyo, Detroit and Geneva auto shows.  The cover star is Nissan’s IDx concept. Displayed in two different forms – sporty Nismo and laid-back Freeflow – the project was carried out with input from 30 young, fashion-conscious members of ‘Generation Z’ (born post-1990).
