Goodwood Festival of Speed: McLaren MP4-12C debut

The McLaren MP4-12C - on the McLaren stand at the Festival of Speed I know, you probably already know that McLaren are going to give the MP4-12C its first public outing at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year. In fact you definitely know that if you read here regularly. But it does no harm to remind you, especially as the Festival of Speed kicks off on Friday.

Honda Civic saloon, coupe at the 2011 Detroit show

Honda showed off two new Civics at the NAIAS 2011: the Civic Si Concept Coupe and the Civic Concept Saloon. They're sadly US-market only, rather than related to the European spec models, themselves up for replacement at the end of 2011. Although 'concepts', these two effectively show what will roll into US showrooms in spring 2011.  The blurb is pretty strict on the difference between the American and Euro Civics: 'The Civic Si coupe and saloon Concepts are US-only design and will not be sold in the UK.

Mazda 2 three-door (2008): first official pictures

And while the five-door 2 hardly looks staid, and actually rather dynamic, the Japanese company is claiming the three-door will be even more sporty. Quite how this will be achieved Mazda doesn’t say and is remaining tight lipped until nearer show time.
