You are bidding on a 2000 Johnson 70hp Outboard with power tilt and trim. This motor is a longshaft and will fit boats with an approx transom of 20". Model number is J70PLSSD and serial number is G 04788641.
 
The motor is in great shape. Starts with ease, idles very well, and accelerates with power. All three cylinders have good compression and all three cylinders have bright blue spark. The lower unit was serviced with fresh lube for next year. Cosmetically the motor is in good condition with a few minor scuffs/scratches(motor has been repainted with single stage enamel paint). The prop is included also . Overall this outboard is in great condition and is ready to mount and go fishing!

Chrysler, CAW reach tentative contract deal

The Canadian Auto Workers tentatively agreed tonight to new concessions that will save the struggling automaker $240 million annually and help the carmaker to try to avoid a bankruptcy filing, CAW President Ken Lewenza said at a news conference. In exchange, the CAW got Chrysler and potential partner Fiat SpA to agree to keep its two Chrysler assembly plants open even if bankruptcy is unavoidable, Lewenza said. General Motors and Ford Motor Co., which signed new CAW agreements earlier, have indicated their desire to get the same concessions as those negotiated with Chrysler, Lewenza said.
