Aston Martin LOST £24.6 million in 2012Thu, 10 Oct 2013The Aston Martin Vanquish (pictured) launch in 2012 contributed to AML’s losses We reported just the other day that Aston Martin had axed the Cygnet after woeful sales, and it’s not just the Cygnet that hasn’t been selling well. In fact, Aston Martin sales in 2012 – 67,500 units – was still 42,500 down on its pre-recession sales levels of 110,000 cars in 2007 and that lead to yet another loss. Aston Martin has posted pre-tax losses for 2012 of £24,6 million on sales of £461.2 million for 2012, a worsening position over 2011 which saw losses of £21.2 million. Aston Martin One-77 (2009) wins top design prize at Villa d’EsteMon, 27 Apr 2009By Tim Pollard (photography by Mike Goodbun) First Official Pictures 27 April 2009 10:39 It’s having a long drawn-out gestation, but Aston Martin’s One-77 supercar made its world show debut at this weekend’s Villa d’Este, where it scooped the top prize for concept cars and prototypes. We’ll forgive you if you thought the One-77 had already been unveiled, but the car at Geneva was a technical cutaway rolling chassis – the first finished car is the one show in our photos above. The One-77 won more than 30% of the votes among the eight cars entered in its category. Ferrari FF & Jensen FF together in the snow of St Moritz (video)Mon, 06 Feb 2012Two FFs 40 years apart - the Jensen FF & Ferrari FF Classic Driver has taken the Jensen FF and Ferrari FF to St Moritz to see what forty years of car development means for two 4WD Supercars. St Moritz lies in the Engadine valley in Switzerland and is a winter wonderland playground for the rich, so what better place to take a pair of stunning four-wheel-drive supercars to play than this? Which is why Classic Driver chose St Moritz to take the Jensen FF and Ferrari FF for a (not too close) comparison of what forty years of supercar development means. 2040Parts.com © 2012-2024.
