Daimler-Renault alliance approved, report says

An international alliance between Daimler and Renault has been approved by the companies' boards and is set to be announced on Wednesday, Bloomberg is reporting. The pact would allow the German and French automakers to collaborate on a range of products, including small cars, commercial vehicles and engines. AutoWeek first reported on the alliance last week.

The 2010 Nissan GT-R at the Tokyo Motor Show Nissan brought along a 2010 GT-R  to the Tokyo Show last week, so we thought we’d better update you with the changes they’ve made. Nothing too drastic, but tweaks none the less. Nissan has had a play with SatNav on the GT-R and installed a new HDD Carwings Nav system with some extra entertainment functionality.

Chrysler design chief and SRT boss Ralph Gilles took to Twitter for a strongly worded rebuke of Donald Trump, telling the businessman he was "full of shit." Trump on Thursday repeated an erroneous Mitt Romney campaign claim that Jeep production was moving to China. Trump tweeted: “[President Barack] Obama is a terrible negotiator.
