2002 Polaris 800 Xc Edge High Compression Head on 2040-parts.com
Joliet, Illinois, US
This is a cylinder head off my 2002 Polaris 800 XC Edge that has .015 cut off the surface to raise the compression for a little more low end torque. The domes were not touched when the head was machined. The head is straight and seals like it was when new. Adding this head with an SLP single pipe made a drastic change in the way the 800 performed. I gained 3-4 sled lengths compared to a bone stock 800. I trail rode with this head as well for about 1500 miles with no issues. I rode at 1000-1500 feet in elevation.

Britain's low-carbon future
Tue, 25 Mar 2008By Guy Bird Motoring Issues 25 March 2008 12:36 Higher purchase taxes for high emitters, ‘traffic-light style’ tax discs to indicate a vehicle’s environmental friendliness and mandatory dashboard-based driving efficiency technology are just three recommendations from a new report that looks set to inform Government policy for the next decade. Published on the same day as the Budget, the snappily titled King Review Of Low Carbon Cars Part Two (Recommendations For Action) was lost amid all the hoopla of new tax bands.
