In order to recieve a warranty compressor the following parts and procedure must have been replaced. 1.The accumulator/drier MUST be replaced any time the a/c system has been opened. If this part has not been replaced upon compressor replacement warranty is void. 2.If the system was a catastrophic failure. Accumulator/drier, orifice tube and or expansion device, and condensor MUST be replaced as well as a complete system flush. UPDATED: Honda hints at new European advanced design studio
Tue, 29 Nov 2011On the eve of the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, Honda Design's Creative Director, Toshinobu Minami, announced that the company is looking to once again open a design facility in Europe. The announcement came during a presentation at the R&D Center in Waco, just outside the Japanese capital and, while not confirmed, Minami-san strongly hinted that the UK would be a likely candidate to play host to Honda's revitalized European design operations. He cited the country's existing manufacturing and administration facilities, as well as a wealth of new talent from the Royal College of Art in particular.

Thu, 09 May 2013Alfonso Albaisa has been appointed executive design director at Infiniti as part of the Infiniti brand's restructuring. Reporting to Shiro Nakamura, he is based at the company's Design Center in Atsugi, Japan. Albaisa joins Nissan's luxury marque after a year as design director for Nissan's Global Passenger Vehicles and Electric Vehicles.

As far back as 2009, Jaguar privately confessed that the lack of an XF Estate was down to the lack of a 4WD platform to make the XF Estate a proper competitor in the luxury load-lugging market. And although we thought Jaguar could still make a success of the XF Estate without a 4WD option, we understood their perspective; Jaguar didn’t want to be the poor relation in the luxury estate market.
