This listing is for a Rebuild service on 2003 2004 2005  GMC Safari ABS Control Module.

You are not buying the actual part.

 Known problems:

- ABS pump running non-stop

 - ABS light is always on or intermittent

- ABS and Brake lights are on

- ABS pump constantly running

 - Trouble codes for ABS pump, communication codes or speed sensor codes.

Considering massive amount of 2003 to 2005 ABS control module failure we perfected rebuild solution by repairing weak points and replacing parts with updated components that can withstand high pressure.

You will send us your bad ABS control module (only the electronic part aka "brain box"). Please, do not send the whole unit - only the black box. We will rebuild it, test on the special test stand and on the vehicle and return it to you.No additional programming required.

Installation instructions for DIY available, but it's recommended to do the replacement in professional mechanic shop. You can still drive the vehicle with the ABS control module removed. You're going to still have your regular brakes. We recommend to tape plastic around hydraulic parts that remain on the vehicle to prevent dirt and debris from getting inside the unit.

Please, pack it well, include your printed Paypal payment page and contact phone number and send it to:

Art Center BMW/Exa project

Fri, 15 Feb 2008

There's a new sponsored project that is just getting under way at Art Center College of Design, the likes of which hasn't been seen in a very long time - if at all. The school's Transportation Design department has helped bring together BMW with Exa Corporation, a Boston-based virtual aerodynamic simulation company, and has tasked the students to re-design the current BMW X5 Sports Activity Vehicle with the hope of dramatically increasing its aerodynamic efficiency while still retaining the BMW flagship SAV design language. This brief is quite timely in the context of the industry's ongoing focus with sustainability and strikes at the core of the BMW Group's long term energy strategy known as the concept of Efficient Dynamics.

One Lap of the Web: Porsche flat-fours, hot rod artists and German car shows

Tue, 07 May 2013

We spend a lot of time on the Internet -- pretty much whenever we're not driving, writing about or working on cars. Since there's more out there than we'd ever be able to cover, here's our daily digest of car stuff on the Web you may not otherwise have heard about. -- You've heard of watching paint dry, but NHTSA has a new hobby: watching Fords rust.
