Freightliner reveals new truck concept [w/video]
Fri, 23 Mar 2012Freightliner Trucks has unveiled a new concept vehicle, dubbed the Revolution Innovation Truck, at the 2012 Mid-America Trucking Show. Freightliner has built upon the first Innovation Truck, unveiled in 2009, and has updated the cabin with the latest technologies while keeping the essential day- and night-time functions of the tractor unit. The Revolution Innovation has been aerodynamically optimized, with a sloping hood, low-mounted grille and an integrated, raised over-cab roof.

Torquey, lively and frugal, the 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine is a little marvel, a fact recognised for the second year running by the judging panel for the Engine of the Year Awards, which has given the 1.0 litre EcoBoost the highest ever marks in the award’s fifteen year history. Hyundai to tone down ‘Fluidic Design’ for ‘Fluidic Precision’
Mon, 23 Jul 2012Hyundai’s US boss, John Krafcik, has said that Hyundai will refine their ‘Fluidic Design’ in to something they’re calling ‘Fludic Precision’. The Hyundai Fluidic Design language was really the start of Hyundai’s move from Halford’s special to mainstream car maker. But the design language is starting to look a bit fussy and Hyundai are reacting to that by moving towards what they call ‘Fluidic Precision’ (there’s already a less fussy look about the new Santa Fe).
