This OEM engine control computer came from a 2004 Nissan Quest that was parted due to internal engine failure. OEM part # MEC33-015 A1. Unfortunately the ECU function could not be tested due to the engine failure but I do accept returns and have priced this ECU to reflect the risk of the item not being tested. The computer will need to be programmed to your key and ignition in order for your vehicle to start. There is corrosion on the underside but no water intrusion. Pagani Zonda Tricolore: One-off Zonda at Geneva

Sat, 27 Feb 2010

The Pagani Zonda Tricolore - Geneva bound (click for bigger image) We already know that Pagani are taking the Zonda Cinque Roadster #4 to shove on their stand at the Geneva Motor Show, and you can add to that what could be considered an even rarer version of the Zonda – the Pagani Zonda Tricolore. This particulay Zonda has been created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Italian equivalent of the Red Arrows – the ‘Frecce Tricolori – and ordered up by a Pagani  distributor, which almost certainly means it’s already sold – for €1.3 million. Based on the Cinque, the Zonda Tricolore gets a fancy paint job which includes stripes which mimic the colours of the Frecce Tricori.

Concept Car of the Week: Chevrolet Express (1987)

Fri, 25 Jan 2013

A fantastic selection of concept cars from the ‘80s were featured in Back to the Future II such as the Pontiac Pursuit, the Ford Probe or the Saab EV-1, but my personal favorite was the Chevrolet Express that almost ran over Marty upon his arrival in the year 2015. Before being a movie extra, the Express was presented in 1987 as another attempt from GM to adapt aircraft engineering to automotive requirements. GM had been experimenting with gas turbines for more than 20 years, dating back to the 370hp XP-21 Firebird from 1954, but that concept was quite primitive compared to its younger brother.

Electric Rolls Royce Phantom: 102EX at Salon Privé 2011

Mon, 28 Mar 2011

Salon Prive 2011 - Rolls Royce old and new The Geneva Motor Show 2011 saw Rolls Royce take the wraps off the biggest electric car, with the biggest bank of batteries, we’ve seen so far – the Rolls Royce Phantom EV. But it’s only a concept. In theory, electric power for the Rolls Royce Flagship could be a very sane option.
