2014 Nissan Qashqai: The tease for the new Qashqai begins
Mon, 28 Oct 2013The new Nissan Qashqai is an important car for Nissan as it needs to keep the momentum going that the first Qashqai started as a real alternative to a small family hatch. And with just 10 days to go until the new Qashqai gets revealed, Nissan has started the tease with the single photo of the new Qashqai (above) lurking under a dust sheet. Win a tour of F1 champ Jody Scheckter’s farm
Mon, 18 Jan 2010In the new February 2010 issue of CAR Magazine, we join 1979 F1 champion Jody Scheckter for a tour of his biodynamic farm. He’s swapped four star for four-crop rotation in his new life as an organic farmer – and we’ve got the inside line on his Farmula One project. It’s an illuminating feature and the former Ferrari ace still keeps some of the pivotal race cars from his career – including his championship-winning ‘79 Ferrari – near Laverstoke Park Farm, in Basingstoke Hampshire.
Bring a Trailer: 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta
Wed, 01 Jun 2011Our friends at Bring a Trailer are offering a gorgeous unrestored 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Normale. The 65,000-mile California car is claimed to be “one of the most original 101-series Giulietta Sprints in existence today with all-original interior, mostly original paint, perfect gauges, factory engine-compartment components, no accidents, and straight chrome and trim.” Curiously, the engine and transmission were removed and rebuilt in 1975 but were never reinstalled. The car is now available in Monterey, Calif., for $23,500, so visit Bring a Trailer to get in touch with the seller and to view a lot more photos.
