2005 Onan 2800 Microlite Generator Model# 2.8 Kv26100 on 2040-parts.com
Tampa, Florida, US
Here's what I know about this wonderful ONAN 2800 MICROLITE GENERATOR.
This generator will run the air condition system and electric needs of an average size motor home
I just bought it a month or so ago to power up my Dodge Xplorer Motor home. It would run
the entire motor home including a 13,000 BTU air conditioner. My only problem is the 12.5"
height of it. I found out at installation that the compartments of my motor home were only 12"
in height. I was floored- It was going to be my electricity savior. But not to be- It would have
cost me a grand+ to modify the body of the motor home. So be aware if you're interested in this
generator- be sure your installation space is higher than 12".
All of my knowledge about this generator comes from the previous owner- a fine gentleman
that's very mechanically savvy in these matters. He told me that he had just ran and load tested
the generator for 1 hour at 3/4 to full load and it worked beautifully. There are so many fine
features about this generator that I won't try and list them all but refer you to the Onan website
for details. I had listed the address but ebay came back and made me remove it for some reason.
It is complete and in real good condition. There is a small bit of over spray on the generators
cover that can easily be removed. He did not know the hours but thought very few. I had it
delivered to the local shop that was doing the installation. The owner hooked up a gas line
to test it out. Just as the previous owner stated- the generator operated fine. I have not used
it at all and for that reason I must state that it's being sold "as-is, where is" without warranty.
Having said all this- it remains a wonderful generator and no doubt the very best, quietest
generator of it's size in the market place today. It's certainly the most dependable one also.
The generator will have to be shipped common freight and takes 5-7 days for delivery. Due
to it's weight it will have to be shipped to any business location Most any can handle this.
The shipping charge for shipping in the lower USA is 175.00 and is the buyers responsibility
to pay. The generator is fastened to a shipping pallet and boxed so local pickup is fine here
in Tampa, Fl.
When you're doing your research you'll see that this generator sells new for about 2,400.00.
Also, I want to note that when you look at most used generators that they're usually pretty
rough in appearance and condition. That's usually from a bunch of use. Please look over
the pictures of mine and you can see that it looks almost brand new.

Honda Small Hybrid Sports Concept sketch
Mon, 05 Feb 2007By James Mullan First Official Pictures 05 February 2007 09:34 Honda will show its first dedicated hybrid car since the Insight at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Only the sketchiest details have been released about the Small Hybrid Sports Concept, but we know it will definitely make the transformation from concept to production reality to slot above the Civic Hybrid in Honda’s range. Unlike the Insight and Civic hybrids, the Small Hybrid Sports Concept was designed in Europe, at Honda’s Offenbach European R&D headquarters.
