Fri, 22 Jul 2011Infiniti JX Concept Tease - now it's the kinky c-pillar Last week we finally relented and decided we needed to cover the tease ahead of the launch at Pebble Beach of the Infiniti JX Crossover. So far we’ve had a blurry motion image which gave us a familiar Crossover/SUV shape, a glimpse of the front from low-down on the front nearside three-quarters, and a shot of the tail light with a glimpse up the side of the JX. We’re now treated to a photo looking down on the JX from the nearside rear three-quarters.

Gone are the days of reliance upon new metal to draw in the crowds - the London event looks set to challenge theme parks as much as dealerships.The British International Motor Show will be held at the Excel arena in London's Docklands from 23 July to 3 August 2008 and is set to attract key launches including the new Vauxhall Insignia, Lotus Eagle and, possibly, the Seat Ibiza three-door.But there will be a barrage of non-metal attractions, including:• Drift school where punters can learn how to oversteer• Heritage enclosure with classic cars• Watersports events with formation water-skiing• Off-roading area sponsored by Land Rover• Children's area including an under-age driving school sponsored by PeugeotA full interactive version of the map is available at www.britishmotorshow.co.ukAdult tickets for the show start at £10, children’s tickets from £6.CAR Online will report live from this summer's bi-annual British show. Spied: The 2012 Volkswagen New Beetle looks a bit squished
Thu, 07 Oct 2010Volkswagen's upcoming onslaught of new products includes a redesign for the New Beetle. The new New Beetle is expected to arrive in 2011 as a 2012 model, with a convertible version set to arrive a year after the coupe. Recent spy photographs of a prototype being tested on public roads in Europe show that the 2012 New Beetle has a roofline that has less arch than the current model.
