2005 Suzuki Boulevard M50 Partial Factory Exhaust System on 2040-parts.com
Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, US
Up for auction we have a set of factory, stock (header only) exhaust pipes (take-offs) from a 2005 Suzuki Boulevard M50. Please note that this listing is for the header pipes only, NOT the mufflers. Pipes were removed at approximately 6K miles in favor of an aftermarket exhaust. They work well and would be perfect for anyone fixing crash damage to their bike that wants to retain the factory look. The heat shields are all in place, and they may fit other model years and/or bikes as well (possibly C50)--check with your dealer or cross reference your bike with the M50. I just closely inspected them and I don't see any scratches--the finish is excellent, and will look great with a coat of wax or chrome polish. This auction includes 3 pieces total--the two upper pipes and the mounting bracket, as seen in the photos. Packaging will be in one box. Please email with any questions. Thanks for looking!

Akio Toyoda waves family flag, heir makes crisis personal challenge
Wed, 24 Feb 2010The reclusive Akio Toyoda is taking the rare step of waving the family flag, as the scion to Toyota Motor Corp.’s founding dynasty tries to steer the world’s largest car company out of a spiraling safety crisis. In testimony prepared for the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, President Toyoda pursues a rare personal tack on the emergency, saying “my name is on every car.” “As you well know, I am the grandson of the founder, and all the Toyota vehicles bear my name,” Toyoda says in prepared comments circulated ahead of Wednesday’s committee hearing in Washington. “For me, when the cars are damaged, it is as though I am as well.” The intimate reflection is a departure for Toyoda, who has spent most of his career sidestepping public discussion of his lineage.

Alfred Taubman Center for Design Education. This is not the first time that GM has given to CCS – the ongoing relationship between them sees members of the GM design team teach and mentor students, while CCS also receives loans of industrial equipment from its Detroit neighbor.
