Custom made Backup Camera plug and camera for 2006 Acura TSX, may work for other years only verified on my Wife's 2006 TSX. I followed the instructions on the tsxclub.com forum. The package came with two 8 pin plugs which I had to modify to a 7 pin plug for the install so I made another one. This plug once made will plug into the navigation brain located in the trunk. I Will include a license plate mounted camera. The camera is made by Metra and retails for 80 dollars. It is a good quality camera and is easy to mount and requires no drilling to mount. It is the same one I used and works great, also has the guidance lines for a factory like image. All that needs to be done is...

(1) Plugging the 7 pin plug into navigation box and running the rca to the trunk lid.

(2) Hook up reverse 12v and ground to camera, both can be done right at the reverse light bulb. Remove trunk liner and tap into reverse wire which is easy because the reverse light is on the trunk lid.

(3) Remove license plate and install camera. You can remove the license plate light and run the wire through there. I drilled a hole behind the plate then sealed it with silicone.

(4)Test it by putting car in reverse if all is well then tuck away and zip tie excess wire and re-install trunk liner.

If you check the forum out or just Google tsx backup camera install you will see what to do. If any questions feel free to message me, I had my doubts about doing this but it works.

World premier for the Fiat Trepiuno concept at the Geneva Motor Show

Mon, 16 Feb 2004

Fiat has announced that its "move into the past for a fresh look to the future" is to be seen at the Geneva Show, where it shall unveil the Trepiuno. The name is very unusual (and one can't help wondering how they will spell and pronounce it outside the borders of Italy), but the car concept is not. The new small car is actually intended to be a modern remake of the Fiat 500 (not Cinquecento) success.

Europe's road train technology ready for testing

Wed, 24 Nov 2010

Work is accelerating at Europe's project to let clusters of cars drive together in convoy on motorways - with no input from the driver. The so-called Sartre project today issued a new video showing how its work is developing. Ah, that'll be the Europe-wide Sartre road safety project. It stands for Safe Road Trains for the Environment and is part-funded by the European Commission.
