Mon, 14 Jul 2014

Audi A7 Sportback Competition gets 322 bhp Audi has decided that a fitting way to celebrate 25 years of turbodiesel Audis is to create a special edition A7 Sportback with added power. Seems reasonable. So we get the Audi A7 Sportback Competition which comes with the regular 3.0 litre BiTurbo diesel but with just a little bit more oomph with 322bhp and 479lb/ft of torque – just 6bhp up on the normal lump.

Tesla Model S EV the best-selling car in Norway

Fri, 27 Sep 2013

Tesla Model S EV (pictured) is the best-selling car in Norway We’ve already seen that the Tesla Model S electric car is out-performing many luxury cars in the US, and with reviews of the Tesla S finding very little not to like it seems strong Tesla S sales are a trend that will continue. But it’s one thing taking on low-selling, high-end cars, and quite another becoming the best-selling car bar none in a given market, but that’s exactly what Tesla has achieved in Norway in the first few weeks of September. Admittedly, Norway’s car market isn’t huge, but the Tesla Model S managed to move in to buyers hands in Norway in the first two weeks of September at a quicker rate than even the regular VW Golf, selling 322 compared to the Golf’s 256.

Canadian Grand Prix: Rosberg beats Hamilton to pole for another Mercedes front row

Sat, 07 Jun 2014

Rosberg (pictured) takes pole for Mercedes in 2014 Canadian Grand Prix After the shenanigans at Monaco – with Lewis Hamilton convinced Nico Rosberg had wrecked his chance of pole position – Hamilton had something to prove in qualifying for the 2014 Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal. But he failed – just. Despite the Montreal island circuit considered to suit Hamilton’s style more than Rosberg’s, it was the German who put in the quickest lap and will start in pole position for tomorrow’s race.
