Fri, 11 Oct 2013McLaren P1 driven by Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson (pictured) It’s only a few days since McLaren revealed the first customer P1s are now rolling out of McLaren’s clinical production facility in Woking, and it looks like Jeremy Clarkson has bagged one to play with. The video (below) shows Clarkson behind the wheel of the new P1 which, judging by the number plate, is probably one of the first customer cars on the road. The opinionated one is preceded in the video by a pair of Range Rovers – one new, one old – at least one of which is a camera car, so this drive of the Mclaren P1 is obviously heading for a TV screen soon – hopefully on Top Gear.

Thu, 13 May 2010Chris Evans has bought a Ferrari 250 GTO Well, there’s a turn up for the books. We were busy teasing Chris Evans in the piece we did earlier today on the Ferrari 250 GTO. We know it’s his dream car and he’s been quoted on numerous occassions – we’ve even heard him say it – that he’s no longer wealthy enough to buy the one car his heart truly desires – the Ferrari 250 GTO.
Aston Martin revives Vanquish name for DBS replacement
Tue, 19 Jun 2012Aston Martin is reviving the Vanquish name for the replacement of the DBS coupe, which will feature a full carbon-fiber body, a 565-hp V12 and a mass of engineering revisions in an effort to eclipse Ferrari's F12 Berlinetta. The Vanquish name goes back to the beefy, old-school model of 2001. Aston hopes that magic will rub off on its next flagship, a heavily revised version of the DBS made famous by its appearance in the Bond movie Casino Royale.
