Supermarkets Announce Fuel Price Cuts

AHEAD of the forthcoming Budget, two major supermarket chains have announced a welcome fuel price cut. The first company to show its hand was Tesco, which has announced a reduction in its petrol and diesel by 1p a litre. Asda then followed, with the supermarket giant taking up to 1p a litre off its petrol and up to 2p a litre off its diesel, pledging motorists would pay no more than 132.7p a litre for diesel and 126.7p a litre for petrol.

The new-look models will make their debut at the Geneva motorshow in early March, alongside the new Exeo estate and a yet-to-be-seen Ecomotive concept. According to Seat, the new-look Altea and Leon families adopt Seat’s ‘Arrow Design’ look introduced on the Ibiza by Seat design boss and ex-Lamborghini designer Luc Donckerwolke to create a more consistent visual look to the Spanish range.

Interior Motives magazine has announced its judging panel for the 2004 Interior Motives Design Awards. This year's judges include some of the world's most respected senior automotive designers and design managers from carmakers and interior suppliers.
