Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake (2014) first official pictures
Tue, 25 Feb 2014By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 25 February 2014 09:00 This is Jaguar’s first performance estate car: the XFR-S Sportbrake. Much of the car’s styling and mechanical package is shared with the 542bhp XFR-S saloon, and its performance is right up there too. It’s the most ballistic family Jag ever, but you’ll need deep pockets to bag one: it’ll cost from £82,495 in the UK when it lands in April 2014.
Jaguar F-Type on video at Goodwood FoS

We thought we were pretty much done and dusted with news from this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, but as Jaguar has finally managed to edit a video of the new Jaguar F-Type at the FoS we thought it worth revisiting one more time. Jaguar made a bit of a show of the camouflaged F-Type at Goodwood – its first public outing – with guards standing outside the container the F-Type was housed in to keep sticky fingers and prying eyes at bay.

Zieta, a Polish designer, explains how the lightweight yet robust metal appears as a soft object yet when you touch it you realize that it is actually a hard metal. "Working with FIDU technology is similar to carving clay," Zieta explains.
