Some speedometers hold the mileage in the cars computer and when a replacement speedo is installed it will read the cars correct miles. Other cars will have mileage held in the speedometer. We dont guarantee which system you have. 

The part number on the purchased item will have to match the part number on the original speedometer in order to work with the vehicle.
