To see just how much power the Invidia Down Pipe can produce, a quick look at its dyno chart shows it easily added several horse-power units to the stock exhaust system. Each Invidia Down pipe features a large 4-in stainless-steel bellmount to enhance power by freeing excess gas. It sports a one -piece design, eliminating the need for the stock catalytic converter. The Caterham 620R is heading for Goodwood this week for a debut – and consigning the current R500 to the history bin in the process – as the most powerful road going car Caterham have ever produced. The power comes from the same 2.0 litre Supercharged Ford engine as the R500, but in the 620R the wick has been turned up to 11, with 310bhp on offer, enough to scoot the 500kg 620R to 62mph in just 2.8 seconds.

Much bigger than you would expect from a Japanese Coupe, the Infiniti Essence is over 15 feet long and features a 3.7 litre V6 turbo coupled with am electric motor, designed to give a whopping 590bhp. The interior of the Essence is much more Japanese than the outside.
