We will need the VIN (and production date if necessary) from your vehicle and ID numbers if needed. Engines are sold as Long Blocks which include the block, internal parts, heads and oil pan. Any other accessories or electrical parts left on the engine are not covered under our warranty.
  3. CD Changers do not include CD Cartridge unless otherwise stated. Radios do not include codes unless we state it in the auction.

  • We accept PayPal, including credit or debit card purchases through PayPal. We ship only to a confirmed PayPal billing address.
  • Sales tax of 8% will be applied to all orders shipped to the state of California.
Items are shipped within 1 business day after payment is received. We do not guarantee delivery time.
  • Shipping charges and free shipping refer only to the continental U.S.

Small Parts
We ship by UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, or USPS within the continental U.S. We do not ship outside the continental United States. UPS/FedEx will deliver only to a physical address: NO PO BOXES. Orders will be processed in 1 business day from receipt of full payment. Shipping insurance is $10.00 (optional). Tracking Information will be sent when part is shipped.
Air Bags
Federal Law requires all air bags to be shipped as hazardous material. All airbags must be shipped as hazmat and not via air shipment. There are No Exceptions.
Engines and Transmissions
Engines and transmissions are shipped using FedEx Ground or UPS Ground. We ship to a commercial address with unloading facilities or a local terminal for pick-up. WE DO NOT SHIP MOTORS/ENGINES OR TRANSMISSIONS TO A RESIDENCE. Please inspect the shipment for any damage before signing for the part; if damaged, do not accept shipment and WE will contact the shipping company.
Seats
Please note that some used seats that have side airbags will be more costly to ship. Federal law requires all air bags to be shipped as hazardous material. Orders will be processed 1 business day from receipt of full payment and should be received within 3-10 days after shipment.

Post-World War II Japanese tin toys on display in New York

During the rebuilding of Japan after World War II, a Japanese toy designer took a discarded tin can and molded it into an intricate model car. Just inches in length, it created a phenomenon in the 1940s and '50s in Japan called “buriki.” Buriki is derived from “blik,” which is Dutch for "tin toy." A collection of 70 tin-toy vehicles manufactured in Japan is currently on display at New York's Japan Society Gallery. The exhibit, called “Buriki: Japanese Tin Toys from the Golden Age of the American Automobile, The Yoku Tanaka Collection,” runs until Aug.

BMW and Merc to join forces

In a wide-ranging plan, the two German premium marques could join forces to take on the might of Audi, with its backing and economies of scale of the whole Volkswagen group and, increasingly, Porsche. BMW chairman Norbert Reithofer and his counterpart at Daimler, Dieter Zetsche, are coming to the conclusion that the two brands – for so long, fierce rivals – should work together rather than fight against each other.
