This 2008 Yamaha FX Nytro engine is in great shape and runs strongly/quietly.  We are parting out two of these sleds, so let me know if you need anything else.  This engine is from a wrecked sled with approx. 780 miles on the odometer, but I don't believe that a 2008 could be that low, so I would guess it has a few thousand miles at most as the chassis parts were all good and tight. The parts pictured with the engine are included, but if you don't need the coils, stator, or electric starter, I'm willing to take a little less for the engine.  S/H on the engine is $125 in the Cont. US via UPS Ground, and local pickup is welcome as well. Let me know if you need an international shipping quote or have any questions. Thanks, -Paul (269) 838-0395

500-mph Ford hovercar is the future we were promised

"Within a few decades, the urge to travel at high speed has led man to develop the locomotive, the automobile, the airplane, and the rocket. Today he can travel through the air at speeds in excess of sound, and it is likely that he will soon land on the moon." Yes, we eventually made it to the moon, 10 years after the Ford Motor Co. issued this bold proclamation.

The move was announced on Wednesday afternoon by Saab North American COO Tim Holbeck as the company’s future remains uncertain. McTevia & Associates, a management and financial-consulting service with offices in suburban Detroit and Florida, is the administrator.

Nissan explores thought control for cars

Fri, 30 Sep 2011

Nissan is working on some interesting experiments for the next generation of connected cars. But they won't just be connected to the Internet or to each other--they'll be connected to your brain. When the driver thinks about turning left, the car would prepare for the move, center itself in the lane and being braking before completing the turn.
