Who are we?  We are an international speedometer sales, repair, and component distribution company founded in 2011.  We maintain the values of a small, family run business while we continue to grow on a global scale.  Our direct number is 262-456-4147.

What is this item? One rebuilt speedometer. We repair the display screen and intermittent power issues. We can change the green backlights to any color or remove warning lights for an additional cost.

Mileage? Current mileage is unavailable. We can program the mileage for you, but you must let us know when you purchase the cluster. If we do not hear from you we will ship the cluster with existing mileage.

Core Refund: No hidden fees or initial charges. After you receive your new speedometer and when you send back your old speedometer we will mail you a check for up to $75 depending on overall condition.  Physical damage and issues that cannot be repaired will detract from the core value.

What happens when you click "buy it now"?

1) Remove the plastic trim in front of the cluster and then remove the phillips head screws holding the cluster in. Contact us if you would like step by step directions.

2) Properly package your cluster by taking it to a FedEX or UPS store. You can also view our shipping recommendations here:
Tanin Auto Shipping Tutorial

Ship your item to our facility:
Tanin Auto Electronix
7012 State Road 31, STE 100
Racine, WI 53402

3) Our turnaround time is generally 1-3 business days after receipt.  Sometimes this is extended based on repair volume. Our office number is 262-456-4147 if you have questions.

After the repair, the cluster still does not work or is broken:

This repair will not solve air bag warning lights or messages unrelated to the cluster. If you plug the cluster in and it still does not work the problem exists outside of your cluster or the cluster was replaced at some point with the the wrong part number for your vehicle. We test and take pictures of every cluster that we repair. We do not ship clusters that are not functioning as they should.

If you received a broken cluster it likely happened during shipping.  Call us so we can resolve the situation at 262-456-4147 between 9am-5pm central time.

Diagnostics, testing, and labor fee:  In the rare event that we are unable to repair your item we MAY charge a labor fee. We will ONLY do this if we spend a fair amount of time working on your cluster and we have prior consent.

The standard labor for clusters and large items is $69.99 plus return shipping (or the auction amount if lower)

The labor for small items and repairs valued between $10 and $50 is waived and you will only be charged for return shipping if you want the item back.

We are generally not able to repair an item is if someone else already attempted a repair and failed or if there is main board hardware or software damage, physical, internal electronic, or similar other damage.

If you do not want the item back, we will generally pay you the current core value for your item if it is an item we can use anything from before discarding it.

Infiniti making noise about its new M35 hybrid

Fri, 19 Nov 2010

Infiniti has just announced that its new M35h will be the world's first hybrid with a standard audible pedestrian warning system to alert pedestrians when the car is running silently on EV mode. Infiniti calls the system VSP, or 'Approaching vehicle sound for pedestrians'. It uses a range of distinctive sounds to alert pedestrians via a speaker built in to the front bumper.    Instead of reproducing the sound of an internal combustion engine, the Infiniti produces a range of beeps.
