Toyota issues global recall to fix brake problems in hybrids
Tue, 09 Feb 2010Toyota Motor Corp. launched a global recall Tuesday of 437,000 hybrid vehicles, including its popular Prius hybrid, as the world's No. 1 carmaker sank deeper into a quality crisis that has battered its image, hurt sales and triggered an onslaught of lawsuits.
Chrysler loses 'Imported from Detroit' lawsuit
Wed, 29 Jun 2011A federal judge today denied a motion by Chrysler Group LLC to bar use of its "Imported from Detroit" commercial tag line by clothier Pure Detroit, which in turn has formally opposed Chrysler's bid to trademark the phrase. U.S. District Judge Arthur Tarnow ruled that Chrysler's request didn't show that it would suffer irreparable harm or that it had a strong likelihood of winning its case.
MG TF roadster likely to die this year

The new Chinese-owned MG company has manufactured a few hundred TFs in Longbridge as it's taken its first tentative steps towards relaunching the famous brand in its home market.
