Top Gear has been on the 2012 WRC Wales Rally with a Bentley Continental GT Speed driven by Kris Meeke with James May as co-driver. We know that Top Gear won’t be back on our screens – at least not with a new series – until 2013, because Jeremy Clarkson told us. But that doesn’t mean Messrs Clarkson, Hammond and May are twiddling their thumbs waiting for the new series to start.

Hyundai's North American design team unveiled the HCD II ‘New Vision Utility' (NUVIS) concept at the New York Auto Show, the eleventh signature concept car to be designed at the company's California Design Center in Irvine, California. In addition to showcasing the brand's cutting-edge capabilities, Nuvis also hints at a possible design direction for a future-generation crossover, blending attributes of a tall urban car and a premium utility vehicle. The new Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster has leaked ahead of an official debut later this week. At the end of 2011 Aston Martin boss Ulrich Bez let slip that a Roadster version of the V12 Vantage was on the way, and the expectation was it would arrive at the Geneva Motor Show in March. But it didn’t.
