This is a 2013 Hyundai Sonata 2.4 Vin# C Code Engine we bought from Cordova Auto Parts in Southern Califormia and Had it shipped to Tillamook Or. We paid about $2100 for it. It has 34,000 original miles according to Cordova Auto Parts in Southern Calif. It still has a 90 Day Warranty on it good to End of July. Good to return for In House Credit only. The engine is still in it's shrink wrapped form from Shipping. We had planned on replacing Ours with it, till we found out Ours would be replaced by Hyundai for free and with a Brand New Engine, we originally thought we couldn't...but found out we could after we bought this one.This 2013 DOES NOT have a Recall ( Vin was checked on line ) HOWEVER it does have an EXTENDED WARRANTY on it.with a Campaign TX for the Connecting Rod Problems they had.We Talked to Hyundai USA and they said it would be repaired for free. To do this I will provide a bill of sale, and it must be repaired by a licensed Auto Shop....You can then file for the recall or campaign they had on these engines for FREE. This one was a good runner and pulled out of a wrecked car...no issues. However You will need to bolt on Your Alternator and a few other parts off Your old engine...but the main part of the engine is there. I will be pulling off the shrink wrap if someone wants pictures and is a serious buyer.The vin is 5NPEB4AC3DH527457. You can also go to Hyundai USA and get more info if needed. Hyundai has approved the sale of this engine as we did check with them to make sure everything was on the up and up. We are selling this as a good running engine and with the backing of Hyuundai USA. We are also selling it CHEAP as We know longer need it...and I am sure someone out there does. I know that Kia Optima engine are the same...but do Your homework to make sure it will work for Your vehicle. New Chinese saloon scores five stars at Euro NCAP
Wed, 25 Sep 2013FLEDGLING Chinese car brand Qoros has scored an impressive five-star Euro NCAP result with its first car, the 3 saloon. Bolstering a 95% score in the long-established adult occupant protection and an 87% awarded for child passenger protection is an excellent 77% for pedestrian protection – a high score in what is a developing category. The 95% is, according to Qoros, the highest adult occupant protection score awarded by Euro NCAP in 2013.
